Privacy Policy

What we collect

ListMaker collects only the data necessary to provide the service:

• Account data— If you sign in, we store your email address and authentication details.
• List data— The lists and items you create are stored so they can be shared and accessed by others with the link.
• Guest data— If you use the app without an account, a temporary identifier is stored in your browser. Guest data is periodically cleaned up.

How your data is stored

All data is stored in Supabase, a hosted PostgreSQL database. Supabase handles authentication and data storage on our behalf.

Hosting

ListMaker is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may process standard connection data (IP address, browser information) as part of serving the application.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the app is used. Analytics are disabled by default and only activated if you approve them via the cookie banner. No data is collected until you opt in. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies for tracking and does not collect personal information.

Cookies

ListMaker uses cookies only for essential functionality:

• Authentication cookies— To keep you signed in.
• Analytics preference— To remember whether you have approved or denied analytics.

Third parties

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. The only third-party services involved are Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (hosting and optional analytics).

Data deletion

You can delete your lists at any time. If you have an account and want it removed, contact us and we will delete all associated data. Guest data is automatically cleaned up on a regular schedule.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
